At Aura 360, we believe your creative work belongs to you. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data across our Website and our Desktop Application.

Short Version: Our Desktop App (Aura 360 Pro) runs entirely offline. We do not collect, upload, or store your photos. Your files never leave your computer.

1. Aura 360 Pro (Desktop Application)

The following applies specifically to the Aura 360 Pro application downloaded via our website or the Microsoft Store.

A. Local Processing

The Desktop Application is a “Local-First” tool. All image processing, color grading, and editing are performed locally on your device’s CPU and GPU. We do not upload your images to any server.

B. Data Collection

The Desktop Application does not collect personal data. It does not track your location, your usage habits, or your file contents. It does not require an internet connection to function.

C. File Storage

When you save an image, it is written directly to the folder you select on your local hard drive. The application does not keep hidden copies of your work.

2. Aura 360 Website (Online Services)

The following applies when you visit aura360.online to purchase a license or use the free web tools.

A. Account Information

When you purchase a Pro License, we collect necessary account information, including:

  • Email Address (for login and license verification).
  • Name (for account management).
  • Billing details (processed securely by third-party providers like PayPal or Stripe). We do not store your credit card numbers on our servers.

B. Free Web Tools

If you use our free browser-based editor, images are loaded into your browser’s temporary memory (RAM). They are not uploaded to our server unless you explicitly choose an optional cloud feature (if available). Once you close the tab, the data is cleared.

C. Cookies

Our website uses standard cookies to keep you logged in and to remember your preferences. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but you may not be able to access your Premium account area.

3. Third-Party Services

A. Stability.ai (Optional)

If you choose to use AI Upscaling features (where available), you may be required to provide a personal API Key from Stability.ai. This key is stored locally on your device. Requests sent to Stability.ai are subject to their own Privacy Policy.

B. Microsoft Store

If you download our app via the Microsoft Store, Microsoft may collect basic telemetry (e.g., crash reports or install counts) in accordance with the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
