Awaiting Exposure Brackets

Professional Bracketing Engine
AuraHDR: 360° Exposure Fusion Tool
Don't let bad lighting ruin your virtual tour. AuraHDR is a free specialized browser-based tool designed to merge bracketed 360° photos into a single, perfectly exposed High Dynamic Range image.
Designed for Insta360, Ricoh Theta, and DSLR users, this tool uses advanced "Exposure Fusion" algorithms to combine the best details from your shadows and highlights—fixing blown-out windows and dark hallways instantly.
⚡ Why Use Exposure Fusion?
Standard HDR software often creates "halos" or unnatural, radioactive-looking colors. AuraHDR uses a natural blending technique that looks realistic for real estate.
-
Recover Windows: Pulls details from your underexposed (dark) shot to show the view outside.
-
Brighten Interiors: Pulls details from your overexposed (bright) shot to illuminate dark corners.
-
Zero Ghosting: Our algorithm is optimized to reduce artifacts if your camera moved slightly between shots.
-
100% Private: Merging happens in your browser on your graphics card. No massive file uploads to slow servers.
AuraHDR Multi-Merge
Professional High Dynamic Range Fusion
AuraHDR is a high-performance, browser-based bracketing engine designed specifically for 360° photographers and real estate professionals. By merging multiple exposures, AuraHDR recovers lost details in bright windows and deep shadows, producing a balanced, professional image without the need for complex desktop software.
How to Use AuraHDR
1. Capture Your Brackets
While the old standard was 3 shots, AuraHDR now supports up to 7 exposures for extreme lighting conditions (e.g., dark interiors with direct sunlight outside).
-
Minimum: 2 images (one dark, one bright).
-
Recommended: 3 to 5 images spanning from -3 EV to +3 EV.
2. Load Your Images
Use JPEG (recommended) or PNG.
Use the sidebar slots to upload your brackets. The engine is intelligent, but for the best mathematical fusion, follow this order:
-
Slot 1: Always load your darkest image (where the windows/highlights look perfect).
-
Subsequent Slots: Load your remaining images in order of increasing brightness.
-
Add More: Click "+ Add Exposure Slot" if you have more than 3 brackets to merge.
3. Fuse & Fine-Tune
The viewer will activate as soon as the first image is loaded. Once 2 or more images are present, the fusion sliders will unlock:
-
Fusion Strength: Controls the "HDR Look." At 100%, it aggressively pulls detail from every bracket. Lower this if you want a more natural, subtle blend.
-
Exposure Balance: Fine-tune the overall brightness of the merged result. This is useful for hitting that "airy" real estate look.
4. Select Quality & Download
Choose your desired output resolution before saving:
-
4K: Perfect for quick web uploads and social media.
-
8K: Professional standard for high-quality virtual tours.
-
Original: Keeps the exact dimensions of your source files.
Click "Download Merged HDR" to save your image. Your file includes 360° metadata, making it ready for Google Street View, Matterport, or Kuula.
💡 Pro Tips for Best Results
-
Rock-Solid Stability: Always use a tripod. Because we are merging up to 7 images, even a slight breeze or floor vibration can cause "ghosting."
-
Uniformity is Key: Ensure all brackets were taken with the same Aperture ($f$-stop) and ISO; only the Shutter Speed should change between shots.
-
